Customer Reviews
This toy chest has been a life saver! It holds more than you think it will, it's lightweight and easy to move, plus it's not completely hideous. My only complaint is that the top pops completely off, which is great if your child climbs in and can't get out, but not so great when you're trying to cram in a few more stuffed animals before company arrives. Previously, we used storage cubes on a bookcase and my daughter would pull all of the cubes off, dump everything out, and leave a huge mess. Now she goes to the toy box, gets whatever is on top and leaves everything else alone.
The box is very, very durable and I don't think we will have to replace it. Heck, when she's outgrown it I may just paint it or make a slipcover for it and use it to store linens.
I bought this toy chest for my son when he was 9 months old. It was exactly what I was looking for. It is strong enough that he can pull himself up on it and it does not fall over. He cannot walk yet, but he likes to pull himself up on furniture and I wanted something that would be safe for him. He also loves pulling the bins out and finding a toy to play with. The bins are not connected so they come out and go back easily. I am very happy with this purchase.
